objectives

This National Project of research and development
on reinforcement by vertical rigid piles is planned for a 4 years period:
the first three years are devoted to bibliographical work, with data-gathering
development and set up of experimental and numerical modelling, and with analysis
of the first experimental data. The last year would be entirely devoted to
the synthesis of the whole collected data, the validation of the design methods
and draft of a document constituting the “Guide-lines relating to the set
up and the design of embankments and pavements on ground reinforced by rigid
piles”.
